SA Steelworks is seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at the Airport Industria plant. If you are hardworking and committed, we would love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness across all departments, ensuring work areas are tidy and organized.
• Perform cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of furniture and fittings.
• Clean walls, windows, and other surfaces as needed.
• Sanitize kitchen, bathroom, and toilet fixtures and floors regularly.
• Manage waste by emptying and cleaning containers daily.
• Keep external areas around the building, such as paths and entrances, clean.
• Support managers and senior staff with various tasks as required.
• Follow all COVID-19 protocols in place.
• Participate in various physical labor tasks within the production department.

Qualifications:

• Minimum education: Grade 10.
• 3-5 years of cleaning experience preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Punctual and presentable.
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
• Honest, trustworthy, and reliable character.
• Capability to work under challenging conditions.
• Basic understanding of Health & Safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good physical health and fitness.
