Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and friendly General Assistant to join our team in Epping, Western Cape. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers enjoy a seamless shopping experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in locating products and provide accurate information to help them make informed choices.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a positive atmosphere in the store.
• Inform customers about promotions and special offers.
• Process payments accurately, issue receipts, and handle refunds and exchanges.
• Receive deliveries, organize inventory, and monitor stock levels.
• Maintain neat and organized shelves, ensuring products are always available.
• Restock items promptly when they are sold out.
• Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain cleanliness in designated areas, including storerooms and kitchens.
• Participate in stock takes and help ensure compliance with safety and security protocols.

Requirements:

• Completed Matric.
• Previous experience as a General Worker or General Assistant is preferred.
• Proficient in English.
• Must reside within 15 km of Epping.
• Clear criminal record.
