The Department of the Premier, part of the Western Cape Government, is thrilled to announce two openings for the position of Human Resource Clerk: Talent Sourcing. About the Role:

As a Human Resource Clerk, you will play a vital role in the administrative functions of our Directorate: Recruitment and Selection. Key Responsibilities:

In this dynamic role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with various stakeholders to improve and enhance our recruitment processes.
  • Performing general office administration tasks that ensure our operations run smoothly.
  • Managing and updating our databases to maintain accurate records.
  • Capturing and overseeing expenditure records within the department.
  • Handling reception duties and assisting with inquiries to provide exceptional service.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

  • A Grade 12 (Senior Certificate) or an equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications:

While the minimum requirements are essential, we prefer candidates who also possess:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification.
  • Experience in a Human Resource or recruitment environment.
  • Familiarity with e-recruitment systems to facilitate our hiring processes.
  • A valid Code B (or higher) driving license.

Key Competencies:

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate:

  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, enabling effective reporting and data management.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with team members and applicants.
  • Interpersonal skills that foster a positive workplace culture, even when working under pressure and tight deadlines.

Remuneration:

The successful candidates will receive a competitive salary of R216,417 per annum, classified at salary level 5. Additionally, eligible employees may benefit from a range of service perks, including medical assistance, housing assistance, and pension fund contributions in accordance with applicable agreements.
